Why it is Important to Know About Standard of Living and How We Can Use it
I think it is important to know about standard of living because you are able to assess which countries are doing good overall or in certain categories and which countries need help with either health, wealth, or education because than you are able to help the countries and make the world a better place! Standard of Living helps us, for example when assessing a place with an overall low standard of living we are able to see that the place needs help. For example, the location of the place can assess standard of living. Maybe the wealth is low because the location is not rich on resources. You can use standard of living and economics to say for example, this place has a high standard of living because in this region many people are wealthy.

Analyzing the world with the 5 themes of Geography helps people to better understand connections between people and the earth because you are able to tell where things are. For example, you can locate exactly where a certain town is like Boston and are able to find out how many miles it is from your friend in Dallas, Texas. You are able to understand better the kind of people that live in a certain area of the earth. For example, you can divide certain places into regions based on the common religion in each area .You are able to understand how people trade goods and ideas. For example, you can understand how we get news from other countries and fruit and other goods. You can know the characteristics of a place. Map Skills Reflection| What I Find Easy and Hard and Why I Find Basic Map Skills Important!
The basic map skills we reviewed where all terms that we already learned, however they were not all easy. What I found easy about basic map skills is understanding cardinal directions, knowing where each continents and ocean is located on a map, knowing the name of each continent and ocean, and also I found using certain map keys easy. I found these terms easy because I remember learning them in the past and I understood them, so reviewing these map skills was not hard. I found using coordinates more difficult because I had trouble remembering this, and it was hard for me to find the exact coordinates and remember latitude and longitude lines. This was more difficult because I didn’t remember this when I learned it the first time. I also struggled with using the keys that were based off of distance because I did not understand that the amount of centimeters or inches related to the number of miles or kilometers on the map, and this was hard for me to understand at first until I got t...
