Analyzing the world with the 5 themes of Geography helps people to better understand connections between people and the earth because you are able to tell where things are. For example, you can locate exactly where a certain town is like Boston and are able to find out how many miles it is from your friend in Dallas, Texas. You are able to understand better the kind of people that live in a certain area of the earth. For example, you can divide certain places into regions based on the common religion in each area .You are able to understand how people trade goods and ideas. For example, you can understand how we get news from other countries and fruit and other goods. You can know the characteristics of a place. ReplyDeleteAll of the lyrics had really good information, for instance when you say, “Find your location on a local map. . .” Another really good lyric is, “Find the equator with longitude latitude lines. . .” I can agree and relate to the part about longitude and latitude lines because the project that I did I had to add longitude and latitude lines. I was a little confused about how the content of the video had to do with the lyrics but I thought it was very fun and creative. Also the lyric that said, “The compass rose know best, you can locate paris and france italy. . .” This confused me because I didn’t really understand how you can find Paris using a compass but i'm sure if someone explained it to me it would make more sense.Other than the compass lyric, I agree and really enjoyed your video!

The lyric "the compass rose knows best was not connected to the other lyric "you can locate paris and france italy" I was indicating that you can find Italy using latitude and longitude lines, in the song I said "41 degrees north, and 12 degrees east" which is actually the coordinates of Italy. I hope this reply helped you to better understand, I am sorry for the confusion.
